Hi there,

Assume an isolated dc/dc module with 53 V input voltage, 28 V output voltage, 25 A output current capability and remote sense pins. I would like to parallel two of the module to meet high load current demand. It seems that UC2907/UC3907 can be a good candidate for this purpose. I visited TI's website very carefully and found many technical documents. Of course they are excellent, but there is no document to have real example with details of calculations. I'm just wondering if anyone has such an experience that can share with me.

Hello Ghasem,
The UC3907 is an older part and has been mostly replaced in new applications by the UCC29002 series of load share controllers.
You will find a list of technical references, application notes ,reference designs and calculator tool at this web page

Hi John,

Thank you very much for the prompt reply.

As you can see in my previous message, output voltage of my modules is 28 V while operating range of UCC29002 is 4.375 to 14.25 V. It means that I cannot use output voltage of the module for bias and I need a separate source for bias voltage. Would you be agree with me here?

The only difference between UC29002 and UC39002 is different operating temperature ranges. Is my understanding correct?

Hello Ghaseem,
Please fully read the data sheet for the UCC29002 if you wish to use this part with a high voltage output.

Actually I read the datasheet very carefully, but I could not find any information regarding using of the part with high output voltage.
