Onyx,
Thanks but I'm trying to Seal and Unseal from my MCU firmware, not BQstudio. The images were just portions of the datasheet. From the Unseal state, how do I enter the Full Access state? The default codes (0x00) do not work as they are equivalent to a sub-command.
Thanks,
According to BQ Studio and my BQ27510EVM, the default sealed to unsealed codes are 36720414 and default unsealed to FA codes are ffffffff.
1. Is this default sealed to unsealed code the same for every BQ27510? It is different than the default shown in the datasheet. I don't want to seal my part (using my MCU firmware), if I can't unseal it.
2. The default unsealed to FA code goes against TI's own statement saying to avoid setting the two 2-byte codes equal.
Hi Robert
1. Yes the default is the same accross all chips except you change it.
2. Setting both the unseal and full access codes to be the same is what that statement means.
thanks
Onyx
