i've been asked by Customer as below.

is TPS55010 feasible below customer requirement ?

temp range:0~100℃

load :0~180mA

output voltage :±5%

Input 5V

output:9V

what if customer does feedback from 2ndary , will it be feasible ?

Hi Takahashi-san,

The device might be able to support the customer specs however it needs to ensure Tj will not exceed 150 deg. C at all conditions.

If the secondary output is used for voltage feedback then it defeats the purpose of primary to secondary isolation. In any case, I will get back to you if possible to use the secondary output for Vsense.

Can we simulate how much thermal would be with customer required spec ?

For having a feedback from 2ndary to primary with opt makes isolation still not defeating.

Do you think below works ?
