TPS791: Confirming the TPS79133 Selection

Part Number: TPS791
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP5907

Hi team

Now my customer has selected  TPS79133DBVRE for the AVDD of ADS7041IDCU.

1. I think that TPS79133 is ok for this application. could you please double-confirm this selection?

2. Do you think it is a good choice or mainstream selection to select TPS79133DBVRE for the AVDD of ADS7041IDCU?

if not, do you have any better recommendation?

  • Hi Wesley,

The TPS791 should be okay but I do want to mention that it has an inverse EN pin. Meaning that the device will be active when this pin is pulled low and this device will be in shutdown mode if pulled high.

If the inverse enable feature is not desired then the LP5907 would be a good solution and is a very popular device for low-noise applications such as providing power for an AVDD rail.

    regards,

    Wilson
