UCC27211: source on IN pin

Part Number: UCC27211

Hi Team,

In datasheet, there is description as below.  That is, the source signal on HI/LI should be a low impedance, if using a high impedance, need to add bypass cap.

If so,  please kindly check whether below circuit is OK or not. Or need to add bypass cap as mentioned, also how to judge the capacitance of cap. Thanks.

  • Given,

UCC21225 is a 4-A/6-A driver with reinforced isolation, you may not UCC27211 in series if you're simply driving power transistors in a bridge configuration.

To address your initial question, a cap is necessary but your current filter on HI and LI will cause slow dv/dt signal on inputs with approximately 5.3us. Our drivers input stage are designed to accept fast dv/dt signals on HI and LI. Rin and Cin should be sized such that Rin <=100-Ohms and Cin <=300pF.
