TPS61200: Design Advice

Hi,

I was trying to test the TPS61200 so I designed and assembled the circuit shown below: Vout=5.5 V. However, I am not getting any output (no voltage) under no load or load conditions. Also, the circuit consumes a lot of current even when no load is connected: e.g. Vin=5V, Iin=46 mA. Do you have any comments on my design or most likely was an assembly issue? Any advice for troubleshooting this will be greatly appreciated.

Note: I added a LPF at the input but I don't think this will be an issue.

May you measure the voltage in Vin pin? I afraid the R3 may cause voltage drop, and stop the converter startup. What's the purpose of R3? can you remove it? And you can use power same mode to reduce the power loss with light load. The details is in datasheet 10.4.1 "Power Save Mode"

Thanks for your reply! The idea of R3 was to create a LPF at the input (I think I saw that in the datasheet). Nevertheless, I will try to remove it and get back to you right away!
