LM46001: Alternative external circuit for Soft-Start

Part Number: LM46001

Dear support team!

I would like to implement a Soft-Start with the LM46001. Normally it is recommended to use an external capacitor to set the soft-start time.

An internal current source will load this external capacitor until a voltage of 1V is reached. In our application we need a startup time of ~45ms.

Therefore a 100nF capacitor is needed.

Is there the possibility to reach this 45ms soft-start time with a lower value capacitor (e.g.: with a parallel resistor)?

Then we can use a C0G/NP0 ceramic-capacitor with lower tolerances.

Kind regards,
Markus
