LP55231: Okay to reverse current into D1, D2, D3, and D4 when device powered off

Part Number: LP55231

I want to reuse my common cathode RBG LEDs normally connected to LP55231. When LP55231 is not powered, I have a logic circuit that will allow output from the BQ24292 to drive the LEDs via logic gates and a mosfet to source current to the common cathode LEDs. Do I need to put a Schottky diode to prevent reverse current from entering the LP55231? Like:

Or can I just directly run LED1_RED_ANODE, LED1_GREEN_ANODE, LED2_RED_ANODE, and LED2_GREEN_ANODE directly into LP55231_R1, LP55231_G1, LP55231_R2, and LP55231_G2?

Thanks!
