TPS62802: R_VSEL value

Hello,

My customer is using TPS62802 and have a question for R_VSEL resistance value.

They need to configure Vout=3.3V.

Table 1. on the datasheet (SLVSDD1E) says “249.0 or larger” for VSEL=16(3.3V).

On the other hand, R_VSEL is defined as MIN(10KOhm)/MAX(249KOhm) in Recommended Operating Conditions.

Is there any problem to use over 249Kohm for VSEL?
Actually the customer is using 270K ohm now. Is it any problem?

Hi Oba,

I checked internally and it is okay to use 270K ohm.

For choosing R_VSEL, please refer Table 1.

We are working on making this change in the d/s but as you know this will happen only in the long run.

I have an additional question. Table 1 says that "249.0 or larger" for SEL16 configuration.
I understand 270Kohm is OK, but Is there any limitation for max resistance value?
