Kamijo-san,
From an individual IC perspective all of these devices are identical. The only difference between the devices it the packing option for the units. Recommend you utilize the standard part number LM78L12ACZ/NOPB.
Thank you for your reply.
The packaging for LM78L12ACZ / NOPB is BULK.
But I need Reel packaging.
Please tell me more about the packing options for the three products.
Kamijo-san,
We do not offer a reeled version of the LM78L12ACZ (TO-92 package), however the LM78L12ACZ/LFT3, LM78L12ACZ/LFT4, and LM78L12ACZ/LFT7 are packaged on a tape (not bulk or loose packed like the LM78L12ACZ/NOPB). You can see further details of the tape dimensions on Page 30 of the datasheet.
Thank you for your reply.
Please explain the difference in packing options of LM78L12ACZ/LFT3, LM78L12ACZ/LFT4 and LM78L12ACZ/LFT7.
I saw it, but it is not depicted in the datasheet P30.
HI Kamijo-san,
LFT3, LFT4, and LFT7 are different packing options identifiers used by the factory as Blake explained. In my opinion, they should not be included as part of the part number. For end-customers, you may treat them as identical products and there is no need to worry about the difference.
Regards,
Jason
