Hello,

 

Which type of built-in current limit circuit does TPS7A30 have,

A) Current limiter, then current foldback,

B) Current foldback only,

C) Current limiter, then current limiter

or D) Current foldback, then current limiter?

    Hi Hirano-san, 

    Based on Figure 11 in the datasheet, the current limit does not change with Vin so the closest answer from your options would be:

    C) Current limiter, then current limiter 

    It's not fold-back current limit, but brick-wall.
