TPS63806: Abnormal heating of TPS63806

I designed a 5.2 VDC DC with TPS63806.

When I applied 5V to test the board, the TPS63806 started to heat up and eventually stopped working. When I checked it with a tester, I found that the DCDC Vin and GND were short-circuited.

Schematics and layouts cannot be shared here. If a TI engineer can help, I will send you a schematic and layout diagram in DM.

could you repeat such behavior in several PCB board?

if yes, please check the schematic and layout with the suggestion in datasheet and EVM user guide.

if you didn't see any issue, please add me as private friend and send the design file to me.

you can also apply an EVM for reference.

I have 5 boards, but all the boards generate heat as well.

When measured with a non-contact type temperature measuring device, the temperature has risen to about 130 ° C.
