TPS2051B: output cap value

The Output line (pin 1) of the TPS2051BDBV which goes to the VBUS (Pin 6) of TPD4S012DRYR (U26) - has 2 LARGE caps to ground – do they REALLY need to be THAT big? Seems overkill to me.

Hi Sir,

In general, one 100uF cap is enough.

But it depends on customer's application scenario.

All suggested to add one 0.1uF cap.

Please clarify your response.

Should customer use 100uF or 0.1uF cap?
One or two?

This application is the 5V Power for USB -> Goes to the USB Connectors
