BQ27510-G3: Are learned results located in user readable portion of data flash?

Part Number: BQ27510-G3

According to your documents, after making a gauge go through a successful learning cycle, the learned results are saved in the data flash.

But are all of the learned results saved in the user readable portion of the data flash (i.e. Accessible from host via I2C) ?

If that's true, can I replicate the data flash contents to a new gauge by myself to make the new gauge use the learned data?

  • Hello Tian,

When the gauge completes a learning cycle it means he Qmax and Ra tables updated, so you can pull that data if you would like. Usually when the learning cycle is completed and the gauge is configured then the .srec file is extracted and used to program all the other gauges for production.

    Sincerely,

    Wyatt Keller
