BQ25619: bq25619

Part Number: BQ25619

Hi Guys,

Some questions need your help, pls kindly advise, thanks.

About BC1.2, is device will judge if host can support 1.5A or not then charging by 500mA or large current. Is it correct?

If using bq25619, can I default set large charge current, no detect host, and using DPM to control it. Is it work?

Thanks, Ian.

  • Ian,

BQ25619 does not support BC1.2 detection. Instead, the BQ25619 employs the PSEL pin to set the input current limit upon start until the host controller can set the input current limit in the IINDPM register via I2C.

Without a host, the PSEL pin sets the IINDPM limit and the VINDPM remains at the default value of 4.5V.

    Best Regards,

    Ricardo
