TPS61200: PS enabled when low?

Part Number: TPS61200

Hello,

I have a question regarding the TI part TPS61200. In section 10.4.1 the data sheet shows that power save mode is enabled when set low. But the symbol of the part, does not indicate this pin to be asserted when low (active low). It lacks the dash bar on the top of PS (pin 8). It may be because I am paranoid but I am checking to make sure I get my schematic done right.

Am I are correct to understand that pulling PS pin high, disable the power save mode?

Thank you.

 Adam

  • Hello Adam,

The power save mode is enabled when the PS pin is set low. The datasheet is consistent in reporting this information, so there isn't any issue. Let me know if I can help you furthermore.

    Kind regards,

    Elisabetta
