LM74700-Q1: Estimate on part restock

Hi all,

I was hoping to use this part for an ORing controller, however it isn't in stock right now. Is there an estimate on when it will be restocked?

Alternatively, is there a in-stock alternative for a power ORing application?

    Hi Nick,

    While I check for information related to when the stock is available, can you please share the below details,

    1. How many samples and by when do you require ?
    2. Is your project is proto phase or in advanced/ production phase ?
    3. If you can explain in detail your application and protection features required, I can help to check if there is any other suitable part for your application.

    Hi Praveen,

    We are in the proto phase and only need <10 chips right now. (Our design uses 2). Our system runs off of a 12V li battery in its quiescent state, but then switches to a supply with a slightly higher voltage in its active state. We are using an ORing setup to prevent current flow into the battery. Our system voltage will be in the range of 10-15 volts, and a current draw of up to 10 Amps.

    Hi Nick,

    You can consider using LM7480x-Q1 as a alternative to LM74700-Q1 for your ORIng application.

    An other alternative is LM5050. But this device does not support input reverse polarity protection.

    Thank you for the support. Some of the thin sot package came in stock, which will be appropriate for our design.
