Hi ,

According to the following schematic diagram parameters R1523 is 30K, R1522 is 7.5K, VBUS=5V, then the Regn also has 5V, and VSYS outputs 1.5V-2.9V oscillation waveform.It can work normally when R1522 is changed to 10K. Could you please help to analyze it?

    These observations make sense. Based on the customer's resistor divider values and REGN = 5 V, the working resistor divider sets the ILIM pin voltage to 1.25 V, while the abnormal resistor divider sets the ILIM pin voltage to 1 V. As shown in the EC table, the ILIM pin should be at least 1.15 V for input current regulation:

     

     

    By the way, it's also possible to increase the resistor values (while maintaining the same resistor divider ratio) in order to decrease the quiescent current. For example, the BQ25713 EVM uses 383 kΩ/220 kΩ for the top/bottom resistors, respectively.
