TPS548D22: Question for TPS548D22 RSP Pin Usage without Feedback Resistor Divider

Part Number: TPS548D22

Hi Team,

We have below comments in datasheet for RSP pin when no external feedback resistor divider network, customer wants know what's the purpose to insert the 10Kohm resistor between VOUT and RSP? Also what's the resistor values for error amplifier inside marked in red circle in below?

Thanks a lot!

    1) Section 7.4.2 is specifically talking about placing a 10kΩ resistor between VOUT and RSP when using D-CAP mode control and external RCC ripple injection.  When using external ripple injection the external circuit needs a controlled impedance at the RSP pin to injection the ripple against.  A 10kΩ resistor is not needed when using the internal D-CAP3 ripple circuit.

    2) Section 7.2's Functional Block Diagram describes the function of the RSP / RSN pins, not the actual circuit implementation.  The RSP and RSN pins are high-impedance inputs (>1MΩ), though we recommend the resistors used in the RSP to RSN divider be less than 100kΩ to limit the noise sensitivity of the RSP/RSN net.
