TPS55288: Using TI parts as TPS55288 and BQ25619E in implanted devices

Part Number: TPS55288
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25619E,

Dear TI people,

I would like to know which kind of process I must follow to use some of your parts (for example DC/DC converter TPS55288 and battery charger BQ25619E) in implanted medical devices. I found in your terms and condition in www.ti.com/.../north-america.html, the sentence "Buyer may not use any Items in Life-Critical Medical Equipment unless authorized officers of the parties have executed a special contract specifically governing such use", but I didn't understand if I must stipulate a special contract with TI to use these items in our implantable medical device under development (this device will be tested on animals and humans).

Any type of feedback that clarify the use of your components for implantable devices will be appreciated.

Many Thanks

Francesco
