Hi,

    How to do Golden file Extraction? What is the necessity and use of golden file extraction?

How to extract golden file for BQ40Z50-R1? We have completed Learning cycle for a battery pack, after extracting golden file, is it enough to upload that file to the other battery packs(instead of doing learning cycle for every other battery packs) Can we use the same for every packs  (or) We have to do learning cycle for each and every battery pack???

Please reply as soon as possible..

    Hello Nivethitha,

    Yes the main goal of the golden file is to upload during production, this means you only need to complete the learning cycle and configure one pack and then upload the final file for other gauges.

    The flash stream files are the fastest to upload and you can use SLUA801 to program gauges with your own MCU. bq.fs is firmware and data flash. df.fs is only data flash.

    To read the flash stream or srec file go to the firmware tab in bqStudio and select browse, then you can modify which file format is exported.
