Hi Team,

My customer is using the LM5176 in a design that could get up to 55V on the input so they are going to need to add a 2k resistor in series with the VISNS pin as suggested in section 7.3.7 in the datasheet.

Is there a specific power rating required for this resistor?

    Hi Mitchell,

    Thank you for posting. This 2k resistor does not take much current because the VISNS is normally high impedance pin. A 0603 size resistor should be adequate.
