Hello

I would like to know if the component TPS2490 has information about the rule DO-254 (Airborne Electronic Hardware) and if this component internally has any type of state machine or internal memory or complex software. Because I saw in functional block diagram a block called fault Logic which I do not know exactly how it works.

The device does not has state machine or memory or software. It is all internal analog and the fault logic is realized with logic gates.

Can you share where exactly you are going to use this device ? What are the critical requirements from DO-254 rule ?

Hi Rakesh,

I'm going to use this device in a equipment for urban air mobility and the level required for DO-254 is DAL A (the most critical).

Could you give me, a document with the diagram of fault logic?

I understand that this device is a simple hardware item, but I would like a document to support it.
