BQ25882: 3.3V logic for CE, SCL, SDA I/O pins

Part Number: BQ25882

Hi team,

Related to another thread, my customer wants to know what will happen if he uses a 3.3V logic for CE, SCL, SDA I/O pins when VBUS is a low value like 3.5V or even more lower.

Thanks in advance.

Best,

Zeming

  • Zeming,

As described by VVBUS_UVLOZ (VBUS rising for active I2C with no battery attached) and 3.3V typical to 3.6V max is needed.

This is very rare use case however. When will the customer need to communicate with the BQ25882 with the input voltage so low and the battery absent?

    Best Regards,

    Ricardo
