I am facing exactly same problem as the related question.

The code hangs on while (1) in EMB_Start function.

The given code should atleast work "out of the box"

Did anyone found any solution till now.

    Please download the latest CCS version from the TI directory and also make sure the CCS hw is using lower IRQ comm interrupts inside of the WINDOWS 10.

    The Indicator LED on EM1402-EVM board for active balancing doesn't shows any activity.
    If there was any problem with CCS hw IRQ then it may hang up when giving balancing command but atleast it should perform active balancing and show some activity with LED indicator.
    You guys have sold thousands of these, does this code worked for anyone, if so please let us know some details like
    1. Which operating System and CCS version they are using.
    2. Which build of EM1402-EVM are they using.
    3. What changes they made to make it work(if any)

    atleast we should know if we got a working Evaluation Module.

    I never did get my EM1402EVM working :-(
    I put in a significant amount of time trying to figure it out, but ran out of time and gave up. I will have to return to it again soon.
