battery charging current with BQ51050B & BQ24095

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24095, BQ51050B

Hi,

On single PCB, We have designed two options for 220mAh Li-Ion battery charging. (One with BQ24095 and another with BQ51050B)

we have limited fast charging current at 55mA in both the circuits by setting RILIM resistors.

For BQ24095, RISET = KISET / Iout

So, RISET = 560/55mA = 10.1818K (chosen value 10K 1% 0402)

For BQ51050B, RILIM = KILIM / Iout

So, RILIM = 300/55mA = 5.4545K (chosen value 5.36K 1% 0402)

Still i am getting Battery charging current = 34mA stable in both cases.

What can be the reason that calculated resistor values are not giving proper charging current?

Awaiting for kind reply.
