Hi Guys

Regarding the BQ24780 learning mode problem, the battery LEARN Cycle of the chip learns the battery level through full discharge. Under what conditions does the learning mode use? I read the data sheet if the voltage reaches Battery Depletion Threshold when it discharges in learning mode, it will automatically change to charge by the adapter. If I want to know if the battery is over-discharged, it must be in learning mode?

    Learn function is for a gauge IC to check battery SOC which requires stop charging.
    The depletion Threshold can let charger automatically switch back to adapter power which can prevent system voltage crash when remove battery in Learn mode.
