EV2300 USB drivers unknown on last Windows 10 update

Hi Fabien,

Here is the latest driver for the EV2300 that I'm aware of:EV2300a_Device_Driver_Installer_Multilanguage.zip

We were able to use an EV2300 (using this driver) with bqstudio on a Windows 10 computer earlier this year. Let me know if this works for you.

Thank you for this quick answer.

Unfortunately, it does not work !
Everything was running well until the latest Windows update from "last week". The installer looks to running well but the USB peripheral is on the unknown list and BQStudio does not find the EV2300.

Here is a more recent driver. Make sure to run the executable in administrator mode.

Unfortunately, it still does not work !!!

It happens on two computers here just after the last Windows update (package KB3176936). Computers were already in Win 10.

We tried many things, uninstall the driver, run the executable in Admin mode, clean the register base...nothing !

The risk is to have the same issue on all the computers on a few days, and to be unable to program our gauge component. So we are a bit worried !
I think package Windows update KB3176936 is the source of our issue.

Do you have others ideas ?

Hi Fabien,

I don't have a driver that has been verified with the new windows 10 update. You can do read/write commands over I2C as long as the gauge hasn't been sealed. You can program and communicate with your gauge using this method.

Additionally, I would suggest using an EV2400: www.ti.com/.../EV2400. It uses the HID class to communicate over USB so drivers are already built into windows.

Yes, the EV2400 provides the same functions as the EV2300 and works with BQStudio.

today i experienced the same problem. After win 10 update the driver can not be recognized by windows!!!

I've verified the problem on two pc with the same update.

Is there a workaround ??

I would suggest using an  EV2400. It uses the HID class to communicate over USB so drivers are already built into windows..

we acquired EV board for BQ769x0 ( BQ76940EVM) and it is said in user manual that EV2400 is not working and we should use EV2300. So we bought the EV2300.... but I just discovered that EV2300 is not working with windows 10. Can you help to get a fix on EV2300 drivers for Win 10 ?

it's not a problem of driver, I use indifferently EV2300 or EV2400 on my W10.
You must change your regional parameters, because this tool use only dot (.) not comma (,) .
