Please give me an answer to my queries.
Determining Remaining Capacity in bq34110 for NiMh 10 cells battery?
Determining time to empty and time to full?
Remaining capacity in bq studio for bq34110 using NiMH 10 cell battery does not seem to show the right value while charging and discharging. The gauge is calibrated for voltage current and temperature and we have got the cedv coefficients for calculating the EDV values by successfully logging for different rates and temperature.
Initially it did show the right values for RC while charging, but eventually we had disconnected the battery from gauge and then reconnected and the Remaining capacity value had gone to zero we have left the battery connected to the gauge in charging and now we see RC value is slowly increasing, Time to full is slowly increasing from 0 to. 5764 and the time to empty is showing default value 65535.
I am not sure if this is how the gauging values of the fuel gauge look like while determining RC, what I assumed was gauge will be able to determine the RC as soon as we connect battery to the fuel gauge.
Similarly, after entering the values from the GPC calculator, cedv parameters, the next step is to perform a qualifying discharge at 3C/32 current could you please confirm.
