UCD3138: Bidirectional current sensing for PFC using UCD3138

Part Number: UCD3138
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP20873

Hello,

We've successfully developed a PFC with UCD3138. Now we're "upgrading" it have better efficiency and lower THD. One of the changes we're planning to make is to use bidirectional current sense feedback. We'll design it such that the EADC input swings between 0.5-1.5V (so 0.5V swing around a DC bias of 1V)

We would like to get some help about how to incorporate this into our existing PFC code, which is based on UCD3138PFCEVM.

We believe this is very similar to how the totem pole ( PMP20873 ) design operates, based on its schematics. However, since the firmware of the PMP20873 design is kept secret for some reason, we can not see how this current sensing method is implemented in the code.

Can you please explain how current sensing is handled in the PMP20873 code?

Thanks
