Hello,
1. our product information as below:
CPU: imx6sl
display PMIC: TPS65185
display resolution: 1872X1404
2. appearance:
When screen display some gray picture, Eink display couldn't update data, sometimes machine crash.
3. my analysis:
After discuss with Eink engineer, they say display some gray picture need very high currents, the PMIC cann't hold this situation.
So I use oscilloscope to get some picture,
first one, yellow line is PWR_GOOD pin, blue line is VPOS pin. this picture will cause machine can't update data.
second one, yellow line is PWR_GOOD pin, blue line is VPOS pin. this picture is OK, normal waveform.
third one, blue line is PWR_GOOD pin, yellow line is VPOS pin. this situation will cause machine crash!!
after enlarge
even add some capacitance in vpos, it still not ok.
please give me some advice to fix this issue, can I use I2C to modify PMIC to fix this issue??
