TPS65185: about Operating Temperature spec issue

Hi Sir,

The datasheet 7.1 Absolute Maximum Ratings shows TJ Operating junction temperature –10 to 125 °C and PACKAGING INFORMATION shows Op Temp (°C) is -40 to 85.

Which one is correct?

The customer wants to make sure -15 °C is okay or not. Please help to check it out.

Hi Ken,

The recommended operating range (section 7.3) is the temperature that the device can meet all of the specifications. It likely will work down to -40C, however the device isn't guaranteed to meet the specifications at -15C.
