TPS65680: Can't write data to OTP memory

Part Number: TPS65680

Hi, All

Customer program the OTP memory four times are OK, but can't program once more.

Is the a possible of OTP memory size not enough??

If yes, may I know how much size of OTP memory?

  • Hello NObody,

The OTP memory size is given in the datasheet and the length of the pattern defines how often it can be written. Please check the datasheet for the OTP description.

    Best regards,
    Brigitte
  • Hi, Brigitte:

Could you tell me which chapter can find the memory size of OTP?

Maybe I ignored something, but I didn't see the information about OTP memory size.
  • Hello,
I was reviewing the threads and noticed that this thread was still open.
OTP can be written minimum of three times and maximum of 9 times depending on the instruction sequence length. Instruction sequence can be up to 54 instructions long (each instruction is 24 bit/3 Bytes long) but can also be less than that depending on the application need. There is enough space in the OTP memory to accommodate three full length (54 instruction) sequences. If , for example, sequence is full 54 instruction long, OTP can be written a maximum of 3 times. On the other hand, if instruction sequence is 30 instructions long, OTP can be written a maximum of 5 times and so on.
I hope this answers your orignal questions.
    Kind Regards,
    Liaqat
