TPS65132: About behavior of I2C interface

Hi Team,

We would like to know the behavior of I2C interface of TPS65132L/L0/T6.

[Q1]

I understand that I can write the data by I2C if ENP and ENN pins are Low (even if VIN is 4.5V).

Is my understanding correct?

According to the datasheet

If ENP and ENN pins are pulled Low, does TPS65132L/L0/T6 reset the register?

Hello Kanemaru,

For TPS65132Ax, the I2C interface is accessible as long as the input voltage is above the under voltage lockout (UVLO) threshold. Status of the ENP or ENN input is not relevant for I2C access.

For all other versions of the device, the I2C interface is accessible only when one of signals ENP, ENN or EN is high and Vin is also above UVLO level.

De-asserting ENP/ENN does not reset the registers. Register values are retained as long as Vin is above the UVLO level.
