In looking at this wiki about production test mode, will these HCI commands work without the network processor interface? Our application does not need voltage level shifting and the UART communication is a wired interface, so the NPI patches was never added to SimpleBLEPeripheral.

CC2640 4x4 custom board, BLE stack 2.1, CCS6.1.2, TI RTOS 2.13.

What are you referring to with "network processor interface"? You need everything that is mentioned in the wiki: a tx line, an rx line, and the required code additions.

I am referring to this wiki--
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Cc2640_Adding_a_UART_or_SPI_driver_to_a_Sample_Project

The UART and SPI drivers were added to our application without the use of transport layer.

I am assuming the steps in the PTM wiki will work as outlined without the additions from the
Cc2640_Adding_a_UART_or_SPI_driver_to_a_Sample_Project wiki. Can you confirm this?
