Part recommendation for TFT LCD driver

Hello,

I am looking for a low power recommendation for driving a 150mm x 150mm TFT LCD screen.

Using a 3.7V, 2Ah battery, can buck or boost, but currently only using a buck to 3.3V rail.

Thank you,

John Louie

  • Hello Louie,

Thanks for your request. Could you please provide information on the electrical requirements for the LCD screen?

    Best Regards.
    Ilona
  • Hello,

The only electrical requirements that I have for this is that they would like the rail to be at 3.3V.

They are using a 3.7V, 2Ah battery. They will have a few other things on there, so something that is both cost and power efficient is preferred.

    Thank you,

    Louie

  • Hello Louie,

So you have a 3.7V LiIon battery as supply and need a 3.3V supply derived from this to supply an LCD module. Please check the current that is needed from the LCD and then you should find a fitting part in the buck-boost converters:

    Best regards,
