Hi Eric,

In order to know the thermal performance, you will need to know the Vin and Vout of the device while operating as well. Once you have the two values, you can use the equation provided in the datasheet to generate your own curves. Here is the equation. If you have any questions to apply it for your application, please let me know.

Hi Eric,

TPS7A90 has a similar plot, please see Figure 12. But the current limit mechanism for TPS7A90 is different than the plot you provided. You can see, at 0V, TPS7A90 is still sourcing 0.9A of current. Hope this would help.
