A customer would like to use LM25119 for a battery application at Vin=30V and Vo=16V, Io=20A or more.

(The load is battery.)

In a normal operation it is no problem.

But the voltage of Ramp pin will be almost 16V after operation stopped.(Because the output connect a battery.)

We are afraid that IC might be damaged.

How much the maximum absolute rating of Ramp pin is ?

LM25119's RAMP pin can handle up to 7V. You may have to connect a zener diode in parallel with C_RAMP.

I have one more question. Is the maximum voltage of LM5119's RAMP pin same as LM25119?

Because LM5119 is used for a voltage application higher than LM25119.

Yes, the RAMP pin rating of LM5119 is the same as the RAMP pin rating of LM25119.
