Hello,

I am jyothi from BS Technotronics Pvt Ltd,

For my new design I am planning to use TPS61170DRVR Boost Regulator

Input Voltage-12V

Output Voltage-24V

Required Output Current is -1A

As per theoritical calculations seems like with this voltages 1A output current cannot be achieved,

Please comment

The maximum output current of TPS61170 is only about 0.4A. Suggest you use TPS61175.

But as per this link the output current is 1.2A

Do you mean to confirm for my requirement output current will be 0.4A?

The 1.2A currenr limit means the peak inductor current or the low side MOSFET peak current, it is not the output current. So the output current is much lower than this peak inductor current.
