TPS40322: About TPS40322's Internal Structure.

Hi, team.

My customers have adapted TPS40322 in prototype,

It is a situation that it can be using even in mass production prototype from now.

(I have heard that no problem has arisen in particular.)

In order to enter the phase of mass production from now on,

"About what can be thought of when trouble occurs in power line of using TPS40322."

We need to explain to the customer.

Although that is considering within the range by us,

Since we do not know the detailed internal structure of TPS40322,

would like to know if there is no mistake (deficiency) in the image of the internal structure than the product team of TI's US.

Can you help me?

For your reference,the operation is made in two-phase mode,

Used in the specification of 12V ⇒ 1.0V / 60A.

We imagined the internal circuit as below,

Is not there a mistake?

    i'm not sure if I understand your question correctly. But if you are asking the internal circuitry of the driver, essentially there are pull up and pull down circuit for both high/low side driver. Your drawing doesn't represent exactly the internal circuit (and we can not release the exact internal circuit, but is close enough about the function of the circuit.

    Since good you use this diagram,
    Please show pull up & pull down circuit.

    Although I understand that you can not have detailed circuit deployed,
    so we have to be somewhat right circuit to verify with ourself.

    Your drawing in general is correct, just change the Top FET to PMOS.
