We use TPS61230A under the following conditions.
Vin=3.0V
Vout=3.3V
Iout=1.6A
If input voltage is 3.8V, How is the IC?
Is the IC broken?
We want to know the operation that Vin > Vout.

When Vin=3.8V, the IC will not damage. as 3.8Vin is about 0.5V higher than the 3.3Vout-Set, so vout can't be regulated at 3.3V anymore, Vout is nearly equal to Vin in this case.
