I could not find a direct formula to find power dissipated by IC in either datasheet or application notes. I am planning to use below formula to find maximum power dissipated in worst case conditions. Which one will be close to actual or please provide the actual formula to calculate.
Pd = Vin_max * [ (Qg_tot * Fsw_max) + Isupply_max ] or
Pd = (Vin_max - Vdr) * [ (Qg_tot * Fsw_max) + Isupply_max ]
Eg: Qg_tot = 28.9nC ; Fsw_max = 145kHz ; Vin_max = 32Vdc ; Isupply_max = 5mA
Pd = 0.288W ; Pd = 0.232W
