WEBENCH® Tools/LP3923: Ultralibrarian import to Altium

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

I downloaded ultralibrarian from TI website and tried to generate altium footprint for LP3923 and CC2640R2F. I selected 3d model and followed the import guidelines. I only can get schematic component but not layout component in altium.

I called Altium but they saying they don't support running script in Altium.

Hi,

I just tried this on LP3923 and I could generate the .schlib and .pcblib files. I downloaded the .bxl, loaded it in to UltraLibrarian, selected Altium Designer, and then exported. Then I followed the instructions in the readme.txt to import in to Altium. I'm using Altium 17.1.

Are you getting an error when you are running this? Or can you explain at which step it is not working?

Hi Karl,
im using 18.0.12 version of altium, the latest. i followed the instruction in the readme.txt too but no PCB library appreared for me! please help!

Hi Pragash,

I saw similar things as you and Karl. The footprint for LP3923 that was imported in AD17 was incorrect, so we are now in the process of generating a new bxl. That should be online by the middle of next week. Hopefully this will also fix what you're seeing with AD18. Let me know if you need the Altium footprint before then.

Was there another bxl causing problems for you?
