TPS23751: GND connection for two TPS23751(Type1 and Type2)

If in the use case of TPS23751 (Type 1) and TPS23751 (Type 2) on the same board, can these VSS connect the same GND?

Or, are these VSS need to connect separate GND? 

※Customer will use PoE Type-1 and Type-2 on the same board, and using TpPS23751 ×2.

    Hi Satoshi,

    The VSS of two TPS23751 should be separated because you have to use two PSE channels to control the two PD controllers. The VSS will be connected two different drain of PSE FETs.

    And also if customer want to realize type 1 and type 2, the DC-DC should also be separated.
