PTH04T260W was ordered from MOUSER with my input 2.6V to receive 3.6V. After all components required installed according to TI schematic for PTH04T260W on Page2 received +2.6V on pin4.

Please any suggestions

PTH04T260W is a step-down power module. Input voltage pin 2 must be higher by at least >0.5V +Vout or at least 3.1Vin for 2.6Vout on pin 4.

PTH04T260W is up to 3-A output current. Wide-output voltage adjust (0.69 V to 3.6 V) operating from an input voltage range of 2.2 V to 5.5 V requires a single resistor to set the output voltage to ay value over the range, 0.69 V to 3.6 V. How this module be step-down? I am looking basically to receive 3.6 V from 2.6V. with 3A output current. Is any suggestion for module from IT to be use to meet my requirements?

PTH04T260W step down operation changes Higher Vin to lower Vout . There are no power modules with 2.6Vin and 3.6Vout at 3 amps. Your application requires a boost converter

TI has a synchronous Boost converter TPS61236P adjustable Output voltage 2.9V to 5.5V with input voltage range minimum 2.3V maximum 5.5V at 3.5Amps load.

It efficiency is up to 90+ %.
