LMZ13608: LMZ13608 whistle tone

Hello,

the LMZ13608 emits a high whistle tone. It is the coil onthe module.  (Vin 12 V, Vout 5V, Iout 4 Amps. What can we do about it?

    Hi Norbert,

    Since the LMZ13608 is a 8-A power module commonly used in 12-V point of load conversions, it is strange that there will be audible noise with your application. 

    May I ask is this "reproduce-able" and do you have other boards/EVMs that exhibit this problem?

    Hi Norbert,

    Do you have any update on this?

    On my end I took a LMZ13610EVM, same family device as LMZ13608, under input/output condition but with two different load(Vin = 12V, Vout = 5V, Iout=4A and 8A) and was not able to hear any audible sound from the module.
