What is your inductor temperature? Also what is your VIN when the inductor gets hot.
It could be that you have a lot of ripple. do you have a scope capture of the inductor current waveform?

Our customer complaint about this.It s hot like they can't touch it.The the device we use has this power supply which is in the plastic enclosure. we thought of adding thermal compound to this inductor.
Then we started having voltge fluctuation too. All the details you asked is in the simulation result we provided. Test boards we have in the lab has 11.2V as Vin. If it is ripple then how can we resolve this ?
