My customer is considering input circuit of TPS4H160-Q1

I would be grateful if you could advise.

Depending on the usage conditions, the voltage input to the logic of Input fluctuates considerably.

Since the rated voltage of Input is 7 V, it is necessary to clamp the voltage with a Zener diode or the like, but I do not want to increase the number of elements anymore.

So, I am thinking a method like the attached file.

Please tell us your opinion whether such use method is problem.

Hello,
The absolute max voltage on INx is 7V and we can not garantee that it can handle more than that even with 47K input resistor. I need to do some analysis before giving my final answer.

Hello Shinichi-san,
The absolute max voltage should not be violated even with a limiting resistor. Is there any more question about this topic?
