Part Number: TPS2350ATCA

Hi Guys

Our customer want to design a ATCA 800w -48V Hot Swap and ORing Control. But for our reference design, there is only 180W.

So, I want to know if we can use TPS2350 to design a 800w ATCA. And if not, is there any other part can do this?

Hi Vincent,

TPS2350A can be scaled up to 800W power level but I suggest to use new device TPS23523. The TPS23523EVM-PWR863 EVM is designed for 400W and has FET placeholders to support various power levels

Thank you for your feedback. You are right. I didn't pick TPS2350A. I promote TPS23525 because they need dual channel Oring controller. I am confused that how to select the sense resistor and power mosfet. So could you share some materials?

Hi Vincent,

Nice to hear that.. Please refer the design example in the datasheet. Start with CSD19535KTT MOSFET and check SOA margin using design calculator.
