TMS320C6205: Inquiry

Part Number: TMS320C6205

Hi,

Good day.

Our customer would like to know what's the difference between the TMS320C6205DGWT200 and TMS320C6205GWT200? What does letter "D" means?

Also, they would like to know the difference between the TMS320C6205DGWT200 and TMS32C6205DZWTA200. As I have checked, it seems the only difference is the ball finish, is that correct?

Thank you.

Regards,

Cedrick

  • Hi Cedrick,

The 'D' refers to the MSL (Moisture Sensitivity Level rating according to the JEDEC industry standard classifications), and peak solder temperature equal to Level-3-220C-168 HR.  The non-D version is rated for Level-3-260C-168 HR.

On the second question, GWT uses leaded solder balls (non-ROHS) and ZWT is ROHS-compliant.

    Regards,
    Mike
